Tindell Family BlogMelissa's Story
1994 - 2008
Like many thirteen year old girls, Melissa loved
horses, cats and Hannah Montana.  She had dreams of  owning a farm someday and meeting Miley Cyrus. Her
smile could brighten any situation. All who knew Melissa remember her amazing spirit.  She bubbled and sparkled, loved life and will be missed every day.

On October 17th, 2008, Melissa was waiting at her bus stop in Panama City, FL when she saw a stray kitten in the street. As she ran to save the kitten, she was struck by a car and killed.

This website was created to honor Melissa's life and to help save other young children from such a tragedy.

The Melissa A. Tindell Memorial Fund has been established to place "Keep Kids Alive - Drive 25" signs at every bus stop.

Please make a donation today with the button on the right.

We thank you, and all the children thank you.

The Melissa A. Tindell Memorial Fund has been awarded 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.   All Donations Are Tax Deductible
